What is a Mono Laser Printer?
Mono Laser printers only print in black & white (ie they only use a black toner cartridge) and are the preferred choice of printer for business environments and are designed to produce high quality text only documents quickly and efficiently. Due to their ability to produce multiple prints in seconds and often at high volumes, mono laser printers are usually much more cost effective with a reduced cost per page price being a major factor for many SME and large enterprises. Many mono laser printers either include or can be upgraded with a duplex unit which enables them to produce double-sided (Duplex) prints without the need for user intervention.
As colour print production is not supported, mono laser printers will only print black & white documents usually at an even lower cost per copy than colour laser printers.
